Freytag's Triangle

For toady's assignment we are suppose to write about our book according to Freytag's Triangle.
  • Exposition: The main character in the story was first introduced as the Stranger, because no one knew that he was invisible or his real name. The story fist starts when the stranger living in this hall with a number of other people. He him self as a character at fist was very silent and made very little dialog or motion. Eventually as the story progressive the stranger starts to open up more and starts to talking to people. And as it turned out, sometimes it is better if you don't talk at all.
  • Rising Action: As i was saying sometimes it is better not to say a word well, according to the story talking was part of the reason that lead The Stranger to have a new name, called the Invisible man, and eventually going crazy. The Rising Action in the story had to be when the Stranger had the conversation with Mr. Cuss. Which lead to the discovery of the strangers invisibility, leading him to expose himself to everyone, and getting chased out of town. The action continued after the Invisible Man ran out of town and met Mr. Thomas Marvel. This was another turning point in the book because this lead the Invisible man to start searching for some one to help him reverse this curse that he laid upon himself, to exposing these new sense of emotions, such as anger, and madness.
  • Climax: The climax of the story happened during the time when the Invisible Man began to loose his patience and Begin to start killing people, and going back on the run to get a way from the police and go find Dr. Kemp. Dr. Kemp was the invisible man old college friend. At this point we also learned the Invisible man's real name Griffin.
  • Falling Action: Once Griffin found Dr. Kemp that was the Falling action of the story. For a good number of chapters he was calm, and he discussed what had happened to him, the experience that he went through. At the same time they were discussing ways to try and reverse the invisibility and make Griffin visible again. As they were discussing a ways to solve this problem, Dr. Kemp tried to get Griffin to stop with the killing and focus on the solution. Unfortunately he failed to get Griffin to avoid using violence.
  • Resolution: The ending of the story was not pretty, because Griffin was not will to stop killing and stop with his obsession. Because he was not willing to stop in order to find a cure it all lead up to his death.
